The Met Gala Wedding

Set against the backdrop of a secluded monastery in the Spanish mountains, Paco and Miguel’s Met Gala-inspired wedding unfolded as the epitome of grandeur and love. This destination wedding transcended the typical nuptial ceremony, meticulously encapsulating the couple’s vision of the ultimate celebration — an endless festivity of joy and unity.

As two hundred guests arrived from Australia, the US, and around Europe, they found themselves transported into a world where nature's beauty meets conceptual design. Every detail, from the Met Gala-inspired red carpet entrance to the endless flow of champagne and cocktails, was curated with precision. The ancient monastery ruins were transformed, with lights and dramatic floral installations of red carnations creating a canvas of elegance and vibrancy.

In a delightful and unexpected turn, their close friend officiated the ceremony in full drag, bringing an added dash of flamboyance and flair.

Dinner was served beneath warm lights reminiscent of Hollywood glamour, setting the stage for an epic party that followed. As the night unfolded, surprises were aplenty, including spontaneous dance performances by the newlyweds.

Paco was the picture of elegance in a crisp white Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, while Miguel exuded class in a black couture suit accentuated with a Swarovski crystal waistcoat. Their feet adorned in designs by the legendary Alexander McQueen.

Much like the harmonious blend of luxury, tradition, and unexpected delights at Paco and Miguel's wedding, at Open the Door, our essence lies in crafting eco-luxury, high-end destination weddings. We make dreams tangible, ensuring every celebration is not only breathtaking but also a reflection of each couple's unique vision.
