ABOUT OPI KAUR
Two years after I landed in Spain, I was designing my very first event. Very soon after that I was magnetising a client to southern Spain that had never before existed in the area. I created a niche and founded the concept of eco conscious weddings. A few years later I was interviewed by Vogue for my sustainable designs. And 8 years later, OTD is expanding into something even bigger - (all will be revealed soon!)
I’m not sharing all this to show off, I am sharing this because when I moved to Spain in Autumn 2012, I came with nothing. I had no contacts, no friends, no family, no Spanish and only enough money to pay the following months rent.
All I had was a an idea.
I was told that nobody was interested in eco conscious weddings, I was told that my client didn’t exist.
But, I kept my eye on the ball, I worked hard, I manifested and I became an event planner that attracted clients to Spain because they had seen my work.
I am going to share my struggles, my doubts, how I overcame obstacles to get where I am and practical information that you can apply to yourself and your company right away.
We spend 1/3 of our life working, make sure you’re doing something that is truly aligned with you. Nothing else is worth it.
