Champagne & Poetry | An ethereal wedding in Spain
They met at an open mic night in San Diego.
In her words —The first time I laid eyes on him, he was center stage performing a song called "Land of Gold." I went up to him afterwards to congratulate him on his performance. The following week we both should up at the same open mic again, this time I performed an original spoken word poem called "Suit and Tie." He came up to me afterwards to congratulate me but didn't remember we had already met.
The third time they met, at another open mic night, was third time lucky, Victor asked Gabby on a date, that was 10 years ago.
Gabby and Victor's intimate garden wedding in southern Spain was an enchanting affair, filled with sensuality, ethereal grace, and overflowing with champagne and poetic moments.
Gabby and Victor's vows whispered on the winds and their hands intertwined between whimsical blooms. After their I do’s, the groom presented an unopened bottle of rum, a symbol of a promise he had made that he would drink when he had "made it." With tears running down his face, the couple took a sip together, savoring the moment as they toasted to their marriage.
It was a day where the dreams of two souls were embraced by nature's timeless beauty.
Under the sparkling sun, guests sipped champagne and indulged in Mediterranean canapés while the couple's love letters to each guest served as a reminder of the love that surrounded and deeply connected them all.
The couple stole mindful moments together throughout the day: they wanted to cherish and savour each and every moment.
As night fell, the guests feasted on local flavors and delicacies gathered beneath billowing fabrics and moonlight and shared conversations in between the warmth of melting candles. The romanesque touches added to the dreamy atmosphere and florals darker and moodier creating a sultry ambience.
