Tipi wedding on a ranch in the woods

What would be the most important thing for you in your wedding?

For Susana and Rodolfo, it was to have their family and friends present. This fun-loving couple from Venezuela, now living in Manchester wanted to keep things simple and memorable.  They wanted to spend time with each and every guest and show them the best time ever as they would be travelling across the Atlantic to celebrate with them.

Both outdoorsy types, being surrounded by nature was a must. I kept the search limited to venues with accommodation and when I came across this ranch in the woods I got butterflies, I knew it was the one...

Not only was it surrounded by towering trees, muted greens and endless prairies. The rustic farmhouse had accommodation for twenty guests and was only a ten minute drive from the local village, where the rest of the guests would stay. The venue was over budget, but included lighting, antique decoration and furniture that would keep us under budget overall and the wedding even more eco-friendly as we would be able to reduce the amount of suppliers involved, keeping transportation to a minimum.

When the sun sun set, the guests gathered under the candlelit tipi and shared a family style dinner of seasonal Spanish cuisine. Sticking to Venezuelan traditions, the late night snack of arepas was served during the dancing.  To sum up this breathtaking wedding in a sentence - Endless love, laughter and fiesta. Susana, Rodolfo and their guests made the weekend truly UNFORGETTABLE.
