A directory of our favourite ethical brands
HAPPY EARTH DAY | 2021
Hey Earth lovers, I have put together a list of my favourite environmentally friendly brands, bloggers, charities and eco lifestyle hacks to assist you on decreasing your carbon footprint one habit at a time.
Before you start buying more stuff, have a good spring clean.
We sometimes miss the amazing things we have in our homes because of clutter and bad organisation. Every time I tidy up my wardrobe it feels like I have a whole new one! Take photos of all the things you want to get rid of. Send them around in whatsapp groups and/or add to social media and I can pretty much bet all your old stuff will be happily swept up. A fresh set of eyes on a bunch of old stuff works wonders.
For all of you who have already done your spring cleaning and are ready to get to know some fab brands that are standing by their values. Here’s a list of my personal favourites.
Spending your money on green brands isn’t only great for the planet, but also means supporting cruelty free and social justice.

Cleaning
Clean your home with clean brands. What we put into our water matters, be gentle to our planet and ourselves by using natural cleaning and hygiene products
Since our pup Guru came into our lives, we started cleaning our home with Lemon, white vinegar and Bicarbonate. Not only is this non-toxic to pets, but also incredibly kind to us humans too.
ECOVER use clean ingredients and is the only thing we use on our clothes and dishes, if you don’t know this brand get acquainted! They are very transparent about what their packaging is made up of and what they stand for.
Interior Design
Many of you asked for tips of styling and decorating your home consciously. One of my top tips is to buy from local artisans. Handmade products are usually of the highest quality, made with beautiful materials and don’t make it to the rubbish bins because their value increases or somebody you know will have dibs on it. All the rugs that I own have been handmade with natural dyes and unique patterns. Buying good quality home furnishings and decor is a great investment.
