Laid-back Pink Villa Wedding with Bold Red styling

FROM THE JANE TO SPAIN

Brittany and Philippe’s story began at The Jane Hotel in downtown New York, where they both lived. Maybe it was the glow of the disco ball or the music vibrating through the air, but when their eyes met, something changed forever.

Their journey led them to Marbella, Spain, where Philippe had spent many summers with his family. There, they discovered a luxury pink villa in the mountains—a space that balanced grandeur and romance for their multi-day destination wedding. The celebrations began with a relaxed, cocktail-style rehearsal dinner at a cool beach bar, with live jazz and a breathtaking sunset melting into the sea, and ended with a poolside paella party where the 120 guests felt as close as family.

ANTI BRIDE AND CLASSY GROOM

For their wedding day, Brittany envisioned an maximalist, bold celebration with an elegant, timeless edge. As a fashion insider, she embraced three stunning outfit changes by renowned designers Danielle Frankel Studio and Roksanda. The bride, with her anti-bride spirit, wanted to merge glamour with attitude, while Philippe preferred classic black tie. Together, we designed an understated yet elevated sophisticated celebration, blending their distinct styles effortlessly.

SURREAL BOLD DESIGN

Each space was thoughtfully curated to evoke its own unique mood. The ceremony took place in the Andalusian gardens against a dramatic, billowing taffeta backdrop in muted gold, exuding iconic, artistic energy reminiscent of a fashion runway. Following their vows, guests gathered in the courtyard, where the façade of the house was adorned with a cascading textile installation by fabric artist Mia Sylvia. Vibrant florals outlined the fountain and stone pillars, while experiential tapas were served alongside refreshing cocktails and flowing champagne.

Dinner was a slow, sensorial experience: two parallel tables stretched through the gardens, illuminated by warm candlelight. Creative dishes were paired with local wines, creating an atmosphere that was intimate, refined, and undeniably elegant.

The real surprise came when the party space was revealed. Drawing inspiration from the night Brittany and Philippe first met, the back gardens of the manor were transformed into a disco-inspired dream. Silver textile installations shimmered under the glow of hazy lighting, glamorous curved white sofas hinted at 70s elegance, and the DJ’s turntables were framed by metallic backdrops. A serpentine table filled with monochromatic cakes, pastries, and the couple’s favorite flavors snaked through the space, as Brittany, Philippe, and their guests danced late into the night.
